Our
Story

Bright Minds Assessment Center of Dallas is a group of independent, like-minded clinicians dedicated to providing comprehensive testing for children and adolescents ages 5 to 19. We specialize in psycho-educational evaluations and offer a customized report, recommendations, and treatment planning for learning disorders and ADHD. Our services also include screenings for mood disorders (Depression/Anxiety) and re-evaluations for Autism Spectrum Disorder (High Functioning).

If you're concerned about your child's academic, social, emotional, or behavioral struggles, our expert team can help identify the underlying issues. Signs such as declining grades, concentration difficulties, or trouble completing assignments may indicate attention or learning problems. Additionally, a drop in self-confidence or increased sadness and anxiety could suggest a learning difference that requires support within the educational setting.

We are here to provide clarity, guidance, and a path forward.

What is a Psycho-Educational Evaluation?

Assessments are comprehensive and individually tailored for each student’s challenges. Testing sessions typically include a clinical interview, standardized intelligence (IQ testing) and cognitive testing, evaluation of academic achievement, and developmental measures of attention span and impulsivity. A screening for depression or anxiety can be included, if needed. Our testing batteries meet criteria for SAT, ACT, and Section 504 requirements.

Assessment results will include cognitive strengths and weaknesses, learning patterns, and potential diagnoses. This information along with specific recommendations will be detailed in a report as well as reviewed with you at a Test Result appointment.

Insurance

We do not accept insurance; however, we also understand that evaluations can be expensive so we are happy to provide detailed receipts for those who are seeking reimbursement through their out-of-network benefits. Click below for step by step guide and billing codes.

Online administration of a standardized assessment specifically designed to screen for mood disorders including ADHD, Generalized Anxiety, Social Anxiety, Separation Anxiety, Oppositional Defiance Disorder, Conduct Disorder, Major Depressive Episode, Manic Episode, Autism Spectrum Disorder, Executive Functioning, and Obsessive-Compulsive Disorder.
This service is an add-on to a learning/ADHD evaluation only

AUSTISM SCREENINGS

Online administration of a standardized assessment specifically designed to screen for symptoms of Autism Spectrum Disorder including: Peer Socialization, Adult Socialization, Social/Emotional Reciprocity, Atypical Language, Stereotypy, Behavioral Rigidity, Sensory Sensitivities, Attention/Self-Regulation, and Emotional Responses
This service is an add-on to a learning/ADHD evaluation

Fee: $200

Full Cognitive-Developmental Evaluation with ADHD Evaluation: Fee $2800

• If a screener for anxiety, depression, or autism spectrum disorder is added, the fee is $200

• A non-refundable deposit of $250 is required for the initial consultation and will be applied towards the total for a full evaluation.

• To hold an appointment, a valid credit card must be kept on file. However, clients may choose to pay by cash or check at the time of service to avoid credit card processing feels. Missed appointments will incur a fee of $250 .
